Finances are a symptom of spiritual bondage/soul ties that I have been laboring under for so very long. It is easier to relate this to those who don't know me than "friends" who try to dissect it and not take you at your word. The Holy Spirit has led me to understand what the defining cornerstone soul tie/curse is, as 8mprobable is it may seem. Many years ago in 1967, when I was only in 1st grade my Dad had an incredible promotion. Being just barely 30 years old he was promoted to director of quality control of the division of a well respected and leading pet food division of a major US corporation. He leapfrogged many people he had worked under and with, becoming their boss and many who’s paper qualifications in terms of education, experience and tenure were far more superior to is.
The managers were perceptive and saw his potential in terms of aptitude, ability, character and temperament that made him well suited for the job. Looking back I can understand that there was much envy, jealously and even hatred towards dad that was fertile ground for the devil. Even as Dad had a highly successful career in the pet food industry, retiring out highly respected, the blow-back was that my career was not on the same level as his.
I have lived a long and arduous faith walk whereby the devil has all but stolen so terribly much of what should have been a fun, productive and profitable career as an architect. Per Job always within the limits that God decrees and also per Romans 8:28. The devil has been trying to keep me from being successful as he (remember the 5 "I wills?) and the world would see it. God's definition is not as the world would see it. He is more concerned with the man one becomes and the fruit you bear.
So God has "graded me down" to make me work harder, using the world and "he who is in the world" as the agent. Architecture is my great love and passion (after more important things like faith, family, friends and service). It comes as naturally to me as running comes to a quarter horse or a greyhound. It pains me to not practice architecture to the best and fullest extents of my ability as it would be to keep the racing horse and dog penned up.
Many notable architects practice right up until the day the pass nto glory. Most natobale was the noted Brazilian architect, Oscar Nieghmeyer who was still sketching and creating when he passed away at 102.
So I still see hope for me at my age. I have been trusting in God's promises for so long. Those promises of blessing, restoration, prosperity of making those who opposed you your footstool.
Please pray for a hedge around me as with Job. And restore me as he did Job and Joseph and bless as the patriarchs and Jacobs 12 Sons. Take authority and break the chains of bondage. Please pray declare that the work has been doing in me to me to be completed and declare a new covenant of blessing and restoration.
