Please Pray for my upcoming Thyroid surgery on October 17,2024 at 10:15 am.
Just an update on my Thyroid situation. After meeting with the Endocrinologist on September 16,2024. Then talking with my PCP.
On October 2,2024 @ 2:20 pm. I meet with the surgeon again it looks like I’m going to have a second surgery soon to remove the Left side of my thyroid gland.The Right side was removed on August 22,2024. My surgery date is October 17,2024 at 10:15 am. That will be a complete Thyroid removal.
The day after surgery I will start with LevoThyroxine medication harmone replacement for the rest of my life.
Then I go through the R-I31 treatment Radioactive Iodine treatment, to rid any left over traces of iodine and my thyroid. I pray this will make start feeling better.
Honestly, I haven’t felt well since January 2023.
Please keep me on you prayer list.

I am praying to God to show me His
will for my situation. Please pray for
me. My boyfriend- of 9 years- moved to South Carolina in July 2023. We didn't have the easiest relationship and I
didn't treat him the way I should have. I wasn't a good girlfriend many times
and I truly regret and repent of all the
terrible things I said and did to him. In 2021, my mom got sick with several
serious health issues. I became her
sole caregiver. I became very
depressed because I did not want to
be a caregiver. As a result- I found it
difficult to do all the tasks everyday
and I was always tired and I pushed my boyfriend away when he wanted to
spend time with me. He always
wanted to move to South Carolina and we were supposed to move there
together but he said he was getting
older and if he didn't move now- he
might never do it. He wants me to
move there and he invited my mom.
Mom refuses to move. I am in the
middle. I don't want to lose either one. My boyfriend and I are in a long
distance relationship but I know he
won't wait forever. I have been praying non stop since he moved. I have been praying for direction. I want to do
God's will. I love my boyfriend and
want to be with him more than
anything yet I don't want to abandon my mother when she needs me the
most.
Please pray that God will show me His will in a way that I can't miss it or
misinterpret it. I pray that He will show me through circumstances- open or
close doors, have my boyfriend move
back home- something.
I pray that God will touch my
boyfriend's mind, touch my mind -
letting us know His will for our lives. I
pray that if God wants us to be
together, to be married- that He will
bring us back together- in His way and never separate us again.
Please pray for all of us in this situation.

Today I had an appointment with an Endocrinologist their internist or Residency student she basically said the other 1/2 of my thyroid gland needs to be removed because of the type of cancer it is.
I don’t feel comfortable with having a second surgery for the same thing done a second time. If it need to be removed why didn’t they remove the whole thyroid while I was in surgery on August 22,2024. My heart is broken right now I’m crushed with this news.
I called my PCP to get a second opinion as going through a second surgery for the same thing is to drastic right now.
Why couldn’t that Endocrinologist recommend working with me right now and doing lab work to see where my thyroid harmone levels are until I decide what’s best for me.
My neck is still sore from the first surgery and it’s only been about 3 weeks .
The Endocrinologist also said after the removal of the other 1/2 thyroid she would give me Radioactive I-131 (iodine) . Then start me on LevoThyroxine. I’m so saddened by all of this news today. Im broken inside and crushed.
Please put on your prayer list until i get a second opinion from another Endocrinologist.
